Introduction to River Networks Modelling

MIKE+ is a flexible system for modelling and design of water distribution and wastewater and stormwater collection systems, but also of 2D overland domains and river networks.

The Rivers module in MIKE+ allows modelling:

• Rainfall-Runoff processes
• River hydraulics
• River structures
• Water quality processes.

River modelling options are made available in MIKE+ under the umbrella of ‘Rivers, collection system and overland flows’ model type.
